diyceejay
Has anyone managed to model these in N successfully? While Bachmann do a single POS RTR, I can see that BH Enterprises do some kits for POS and POT. I'm hesitant to try these kits as I've literally no idea what is involved and there seems to be nothing on the web in terms of media to visualise kit building one of these. Ideas and inspiration gratefully received.
montyburns56
Nope, but I keep hoping that Farish will release the OO POT Stowage coach in N one day, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
RMweb Premium Steven B Posted November 7, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 7, 2022 Yes, I've built several TPO vans including POS, POT and BPOT. The BHE kits consist of a plastic base to which clear (Ish) plastic side and white-metal ends are added. Add in a plastic underframe and roof and you've got a basic coach body onto which the etched sides can be fitted. Or, just buy the sides and glue them to a Farish Mk1 (Poole or early Chinese one-piece body shells). You might find it easier to get hold the range sold by Worsley Works - you can get these either as etched sides to fix to Farish coaches (Poole era again), or as a complete coach shell minus roof, bogies, wheels, couplings etc. Steven B.
