sncf231e
Märklin added two blue CIWL "fourgon" (baggage cars). The real Edelweiss never had CIWL fourgons but green baggage cars of the NS (Dutch) and the AL (French) Railway. The number of Pullman cars was generally three, but if four it would not include a Cote d'Azur WP (7 window Pullman car without kitchen) but a Fleche d'Or type WP ( 8 window Pullman car without kitchen). A better (3 Pullman car) consist here: Regards Fred

sncf231e
As said, the consist Märklin/Trix announced for the CIWL Edelweiss train is wrong. But it is not ugly, I think, so I ran a train consist like they announced in 0 gauge in the garden today: Regards Fred

Does anyone know what’s happening with Ferro Suisse though now as they supplied the Bemo track and I understand he passed away recently?
