montyburns56
I've had this pressed steel truck in my possession since the 1970s and I'm wondering if anyone can identify when/where/who manufactured it? It kind of looks like it's from the 1930s, but I might be totally wrong. There are no markings whatsoever and it has wooden wheels.
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted January 18, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 18, 2023 Using Google lens it suggests Wyandotte around the 1930’s and the trailer matches the back of the smaller four wheel truck perfectly so I think it’s right. see this smaller version on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325308853883?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=NlomBaUFSDa&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=C5MvROU8Q5u&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY 1

When I Googled 1930s toy truck the name Wyandotte did come up, but I couldn't find anything that looked similar. Thanks Paul.
montyburns56
Having done a bit more Googling I've found out that it's actually a Wyandotte Girard Stake truck from the 1930s like this one here... https://auctions.mclarenauction.com/lots/view/4-MQ21U/1930s-girard-stake-semi-truck
