Miniature spring supplier?

Suggestions please of a supplier of this size of tension spring,  10/11mm long (or thereabouts) by 1mm.

 

I've made exhaustive searches through Hornby spares sites but to no avail.

I've always found either eBay or just plain old Google to be excellent for all kinds of hardware, from springs to odd screws and bolts. Even magnets and bearings.

That looks awkward.  Surely these should be available as spares.  There seem to be lots of compression springs on eBay which you can cut to length but not tension springs the forming of the ends is a sod in any case.   You really need the exact one .   Old computer Disc drives were a fruitful source of such bits in the old (2000s) days.     For myself I do away with the wide / Close couplers as it looks bad as the gap yawns wide as a long heavy train starts. and the coaches still buffer lock when propelled through reverse curves..
