DCB Posted October 10, 2023 Share Posted October 10, 2023 I am not the most frenzied of modellers, my K's 44XX has been under repair for almost 50 years. About 35 years ago I took on the completion of an 00 scale Cast White metal GWR County possibly Bristol Models. The problem is I have lost the brass part of it's two piece top feed and safely valve The valves are white metal and the cover fits over. I have the steam pipes and the steps etc and it's quite likely to have a chassis change and be re wheeled and get Mainline Manor con rods etc Can anyone identify this Valve and cover unit which I don't think was part of the original kit and suggest where I can get a replacement? Having checked-out the Springside 4mm. website, the two-part top feed / safety valves are listed - but they are noticeably missing from the price list.
