RMweb Premium PeterStiles Posted October 16, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 16, 2023 People normally use glue. I've seen Americans use "white glue", but I'll be using UHU. When B&Q deliver the correct pieces of wood...

PVA or a strong wood glue will do a decent job, but a strong double sided tape will also do the job nicely
RMweb Gold franciswilliamwebb Posted October 16, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 16, 2023 I've used Copydex extensively on my layout as this holds firmly but is easy to remove if you've stuck something in not quite the right place 🤫
Edge
You’ll want to be careful with any points. Although they are all electrically fitted, there is a manual slider on the side of each to act as a backup. Make sure that that doesn’t get gummed up with glue or ballast or the point won’t work properly (or indeed at all)
