georgeds
Noticed that the coupling hooks on my AS Deltic have started to corrode. Checked other stock and AS 37s are starting to go the same way. No other stock affected. My layout is in a loft which is unheated so does get cold and humid. But that said it's only on my AS locos there is an issue and I'm sure I'm not the only one here with a loft/shed layout. Has anyone else noticed this?

atom3624
Just that extra step which A/S take to making things look more realistic I reckon! How many 1:1 coupling have you seen in absolutely pristine condition, and over years ... 🙂 ? Al. 1

Problem with Kadees is that as compared to 1:1 couplings on nearly all locomotives and non-corridor coaching stock and nearly all wagons stock, they look just as prototypical as a tension lock (i.e. nothing like a screw link or instanter coupling) 1

Like the 1:1 will have the odd tub of grease on them, a little drop or 3 of oil would work wonders on these too! It was only in jest - smile! Al.
