Starting with pictures while Youtube does some uploading:

Thornton Fields gains some more stock :)

Mixed Anglia 'pull' set passes over the finally completed end board on it's way to London-Liverpool-Street and into the scenic area. Giant floating heads watch on. Mk3 buffet courtesy of Electra Rail Graphics:

Moments later the all Anglia 'push' set passes on it's way to Norwich. DBSO again courtesy of Electra Rail Graphics:

Most of the mixed 'pull' set rounds the southern end with a pair of DRS 37s in the headshunt. IC DBSO is yet another Electra item, in normal use this will be a 7 coach set but a couple of the carriages had been left in Maggies loft along with an Anglia 86 to pull them:

View down the layout with mags having a siesta at the end. Due to room width restrictions she was unable to get around and shunt from her position at the front. The containers in '3' will be waiting a long time to get unloaded....

And the view back up the line from the new curve after it's passed:

More action at Thornton Fields, a very grubby EWS 58 passes through with containers:

In the start of an on-going slow running series, Nobby John recently asked how many continers there are on the layout. So here's my small supply, keep count and i'll picture the rest as time allows:

And finally as per Phil's video above, a trainee driver with his 14 empty flats :)

Will link videos when they've uploaded, had a really good (if short) day. Electrical gremlin in the main control panel has been resolved, just a few on going Cobalt Point Motor issues to fix.

Glad to see it as a roundy roundy hope to get to perth next year to see it in the flesh.

Bruce

We're all glad to see it too!!!

Not often the layout is set up for a 'play' outside of shows so it probably will be quite picture/video heavy to make up for that fact for the next few hours!

I know I'm going to sound like an idiot, but where's the crane? Have you decided to not bother with it?

The room were we have set up is small and dark (see Videos)

We can only just squeeze the layout in....so no room to get around the front and put the cranes on

So Warren Lane looks a bit bare with no boxes or cranes.

It will look very different in two weeks!

Touch wood i don't destroy them at Shenfield ;)

The carriages for the Norwich - Willesden RES service :)

3x BG of 2 different types, and a GUV with a tail light. If the TOPS codes for the stock aren't right then i don't care, it looks right to me ;)

Alan is providing the RES 47 to start with for this, but as a teaser using Lima 47s it was rude not to try and replicate one of Tim Horn's photo's on the previous page (use imagination to insert rolling Norfolk countryside)
