mozzer models
Well the railcar is now ready for painting & later today it will have a coat of red primmer the chassie now just needs pickups fitting to one side then wiring up for DDC 001 by Mozzer models, on Flickr the roof in the kit was a thick gauge brass & the way the side edge had been half etched (rows of- - - - - ) makes it hard ro roll right so i replaced the roof with a thiner gauge brass i then solded a 3/32 brass tube flush with the edges of the roof & then rolled the roof around this tube then un-solded the tube & removed this gave me a flat roof with rounded over edges i then rolled the rest of the roof to match the body 002 by Mozzer models, on Flickr the seat backs on the foot plate are only etch brass so to thicken them up i have added plastcard 003 by Mozzer models, on Flickr 004 by Mozzer models, on Flickr there is no room to fit a Kadee coupling box so i have removed the tails off a Kadee NEM coupling then drilled a hole so it could use the rear bolt that holds the body on to also mount the coupling 005 by Mozzer models, on Flickr

sir douglas
this has actually just reminded me of a site for a preserved WD Hunslet I was looking at a few months ago, http://www.warofficehunslet.org.uk/introblurb.html the site has a gallery of Hunslets in many countries after the war, http://www.warofficehunslet.org.uk/photobrazil.html This photo shows a Hunslet after a few rebuilds in brazil, which is what your model reminded me of, http://www.warofficehunslet.org.uk/brazphots/WD1313UsinaLeaoUtinga-23-8-86.jpg Iwas also the thinking that it might help with the undecided gap under cab
