I think the Cambrian might be a bit more likely than the Forest of Dean (assuming that to be a service train and not a railtour type of thing).

The falling gradient reminds me of Llanbedr.But I think you would see the crossing keepers cottage.

Only just got back to looking at this thread, so the comment is rather late, the Kilver St distant is indeed on the foot path now running through a public space known as Collett Park.

 

Anyone who has been to the Shepton narrow gauge show will know this is right opposite the entrance to the school where the show is held.

Just south of Dyffryn Arddudwy, the distant for it being in the station. Here is the view the other way.
