vac_basher
Are Shawplan, the nameplate manufactures, still trading? Their website doesn't seem to of been updated for quite some time now....
Andy Y
Yes, Brian's just a busy bloke. Googling for Shawplan still brings up the old site first of all. The site you need is http://www.shawplan.com For new products it's always worth keeping an eye on http://shawplan.wordpress.com/
vac_basher
Thanks again Andy. I'd been looking on http://users.computerweekly.net/ka/shawplan/ which must be the old site.
Guest Phil
Thanks again Andy. I'd been looking on http://users.compute...et/ka/shawplan/ which must be the old site. Graham Shaw sold the business to Brian either this year or last. Guess you are looking at Graham's site. AFAIK Brian is marketing all of Graham's plates as well as Brian's new stuff in the Extreme Etchings range.

Should probably add that Brian has redrawn quite a few of the plates such as the Warship ones from scratch to give scale boarders and tweaks to the text etc. Its not just the Extreme Etch and Laserglaze ranges. Pete Piszczek
The current business model seems to be more centered around selling at shows, not using the website for mail order. Not a criticism, just an observation, it is hard to get a list of new items or contact Brian.

Its because there isn't a backend database in place yet that would maintain a decent catalogue for online orders, it is something Brian wants to do. Also, as he is invariably working until 3,4and 5 in the morning there just ain't time to do everything he would like to. Apologies all round.
