Dave777
Just before I splash the paint on... I'm trying to follow the 'weather from a prototype photo' approach but can't seem to find a shot that shows what a Dogfish wagon looks like inside. I'm assuming they weather in a similar way to the outlet scoopy things on either side shown in this photo from Paul Bartlett's site... http://gallery6801.fotopic.net/p10636018.html ...as this seems to be common. However, it did occur to me that this area experiences a rapid bypass of the hopper contents so scratching, pitting, rubbing, etc, is going to be fairly abrasive, whereas the interior contents would go down at a slower rate, perhaps not weathering so much...? Any ideas? I've tried numerous searches without success both here and Google, and perused my small book collection without success - photos are either from the side or the Dogfish is full of ballast Thanks in advance. Dave777
Now that's just perfect, exactly what was required! Interesting, the 'streaking' seen on the side exits isn't present, just an overall rusty/dusty/dirty colour. Brilliant, many thanks for that Mark

Dave777
Ah yes, useful too. Interesting that that shows just a general overall rustyness with no real marking/streaking as such - a very even covering. Great, many thanks.
