RMweb Gold 2mmMark Posted June 12, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 12, 2011 Disappointing to yet another sneery reference to "narra gauge". I find this rather tedious and disrespectful. Mark.
stewartingram
Anyone notice the glaring errors in the review of the cl.37/0? D6801 - ex GE Section loco etc? Whatever next? D6700-29 were our locos.... Stewart

RMweb Gold 2mmMark Posted June 13, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 13, 2011 Mickey - just try searching RMWeb for "narra" and you'll see a recurring theme.
stewartingram
I really do see your point......but Im of the "all trains are ok" school of thought so I dont let things touch any nerves......after all N gauge is a narra gauge So is "00" - but I'm sticking with it! RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted June 14, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 14, 2011 Couple of good things as far as I'm concerned, out of curiosity I searched "narra". I hardly think it's derogatory when people like Chris Nevard are using it, he's a pretty prolific and adept narrow gauge modeller with it featuring on at least three layouts, and he was certainly using it in a fun way. Some Western miscreants refer to proper railways as narrow gauge!
