Let's see...

 

Cooked fried brekky for c shift

 

Swapped a hst reverser on power car 160 - the damned thing failed to change over on our turn round en route to stroud naming ceremony friday, then A examed it

 

Renewed a 153 engine over temp sensor (an absolute pig of a job, its right at the top to the accesory drive end

 

Swapped boiler suit for normal gear and went out to the St Pauls carnival after party p sound systems and live music everywhere!

 

Happy days!

Not Quite as far away as Pete, but had booked up to go and see these a while ago and felt that it would be rude to leave early ;)

I had wondered what became of this setup, because I am sure I read that Mr Burkhardt's second bumper bargain trainset was bought back by the state. Was that right, Is he still in charge ?

We were driving back from a week on the Yorkshire coast - if anyone was at Pickering station on Friday afternoon I was the one with the blonde toddler swinging on his reins shouting "WANNAGOSEECARS !" whilst being made to look at 45407 running round.

 

Thanks to everyone who's posted pics so I can see what I missed.

 

Modelling activity of any sort is strictly verboten in ma-in-law's caravan. Oops ...
