industrial
I am trying to find the value of a house that is for sale now and what it was sold for last time. According to the vendor they perched it approx 4 years ago. I have googled 'sold house prices' and a lot of sites come up with some you have to register to find out (which I have not done so far) and other I don't have to. Is there a date when the land register make this available, as the newest seems to be 2005 for that post code.
RMweb Gold Phil Bullock Posted July 30, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2011 Hi there Have you tried zoopla ? ..... http://www.zoopla.co.uk/house-prices/ May not be on there however if a private sale and not through estate agent Kind regards Phil
Derekl
Put the postcode into google search and one of the first options will be zoopla, which has land registry recorded house prices from about 1995. There are other sites (which also come up) giving much the same information - you don't have to register for zoopla, nor most of the others. You may have to fiddle about a bit to get the exact house you are looking for, but it isn't very difficult.
Mod5
You could try Right Move as they have them on there. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices.html/svr/3111;jsessionid=95D219A840B3A5CE5E156F5822D809BF

RMweb Premium spamcan61 Posted July 30, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 30, 2011 Just checked my postcode on Zoopla and last transaction is end of last year, so one 4 years ago should certainly be on there.
RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted July 30, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2011 Try www.upmystreet.com. Click on the "Search Property" tab and choose the house prices option.
Guest Natalie Graham
You'll have to wait until Monday, for some reason their website only works during office hours, but the Land Registry will have authoritative details of any transactions for the property in question. RMweb Gold Scottish Modeller Posted July 30, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2011 HI There, Another one for you to try... You do have to register but you get latest prices updates whenever a property within the postcode area sells. Also can back date to find previous sale prices. Hope this helps... Pugsley
This one goes back to 2001: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/ There is another one that goes back even further, around 1998, but I can't remember which one that is, possibly www.mouseprice.com.
