Andy C
I'm operating Culm, OK I know its GWR and therefore anathema to me, but I just cant resist the temptation of getting in for free again just to wind Arnold up
RMweb Premium Pannier Tank Posted August 9, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 9, 2011 Is this the last expoEM North at this Venue?
RMweb Premium t-b-g Posted August 9, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 9, 2011 Is this the last expoEM North at this Venue? It is! Next year the show is moving to a venue near Manchester. It is also Arnold Belfield's last show as exhibition manager so I hope lots of folk come along to make sure that Arnold and Slaithwaite have a suitably grand last "hurrah"! I shall be there with Peter Denny's Leighton Buzzard, which will be its third ever exhibition after the MRJ show many years ago and EXPO at Bracknell. It will be the first time "up north", so I hope that encourages on or two to come along.
Michael Delamar
will hopefully try and get up for one of the days.
bluebottle
Next year the show is moving to a venue near Manchester. Oh no! Don't say it's going transmontane! It is also Arnold Belfield's last show as exhibition manager so I hope lots of folk come along to make sure that Arnold and Slaithwaite have a suitably grand last "hurrah"! Amen to that - won't be the same without the old "rebel without a pause"!
Coombe Barton
Am going to try to get there - last year's planned visit was screwed by having to work because the builders were late handing back. We've got builders in again this year.
iak
A regular jaunt to Yorkshire beckons... Great... As for this being AB's last hurrah - how many has he actually done? Must be a few as I seem to have been going to Slaithwaite for years...

BTW are you going to make it again this year. As I've only made it to one exhibition this year (York) I'd best make an effort to come and thank you and the o'l boy for some excellent shows over the years

Andy C
David, Not quite that many, but it sometimes feels like 50 as the date gets neaarer. Feels like 50? - working with the consumate natterer and tea drinker, I thought that would be feeling at least like 75 years. Im looking forward to having my ear bashed for one last time. But at least I won't have baseboard legs to forget this year, so that should take the real heat off me.
