1000KG? 10526 nickels?? 🙀   Where is this located? 😺

Somewhere where people are very large.  4 people weighing 250kg each!  Is it a lift in a hotel for sumo wrestlers?

I am reminded of somewhere I once worked which had a high level of security.  Part of the set up was a tube-like door.  You stepped inside, the door rotated locking you in, you applied your thumb & id card, the door rotated again allowing you to exit on the other side.  Only one person had trouble: an occasional visitor from the US who always triggered the "only one person at a time" alert.  He always had to wait for security to check his credentials and let him through the delivery entrance.

No, 201kg each.  Five would be too heavy.

That still allows for each one to have a dead grandmother in a suitcase.

I was interested to learn that the US cent and nickel are designed to be 2.5 g and 5.0 g respectively, whereas higher denominations are decimal fractions of an ounce:

Anyway, 10,526 nickels weigh 52.63 kg, so I conclude the location is somewhere were feeble attempts at humour outrun mathematical ability.

Also, your average adult haddock weighs in at 9.2 kg, so that's just over 800 kg for 88. Really very poor research; clearly this sign was not drawn up by a railway modeller.

Are you in the "Brethren"?

...but I'm not sure how far "up" this one goes, or if it's for 1 tonne gods only !

Hmmmmm....

I saw it as for 1000 1Kg Gods.  There must be a lot of Small Gods* around there!
