Coombe Barton
Inkjet or laserjet printable transparent film and do it on the PC?
pointstaken
Someone on another thread on here suggested applying a clear (?) matt varnish to the glazing. The only thing I can suggest is a thinned down black or brown acrylic. Others will no doubt have better and more knowledgeable suggestions. Dennis http://www.rmweb.co....__1#entry508752 Fahnd it ! Rumblestripe
If you are after a more uniform "translucent" toilet window privacy glass sort of look, use a plastic glazing and rub it over with 800 grit wet and dry used wet. Gives a lovely effect.
JeffP
Frodingham........ah yes, they used to park interesting visiting locos there so we could get photos without having to bother the shed staff for permission. I remember seeing a Class 26 there once.......the rubbish tip in the foreground spoiled it a bit, mind. On to the question. Depends WHAT you are using for glazing? A clear styrene sheet, for example, washed over with a styrene SOLVENT produces a dirty effect as above. Or, if you want it clean, wet-or-dry.
