RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted July 21, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 21, 2012 At one time it was possible to get a permit for Liverpool Docks, this was stopped soon after 9/11 (let's not discuss the politics or the stupidity behind a lot of the changes which came about after that sad event) This thread will feature a variety of traffic which was handled by Liverpool Docks around the 2002 period. Thomas
In 1988 I used to go to Liverpool docks to photograph the ships. Had a permit, and was once stopped by security when photographing, was interesting to see their change of attituded when I showed them my permit, couldn't have been more helpfull. Only took four pictures of railway traffic, more interested in the ships at the time, can post them if interested. Tom.
