RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted August 4, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 4, 2012 That is brilliant! If only we could run that fast in real life!!
RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted August 4, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 4, 2012 Excellent stuff just the thing to get some atmosphere for my plans (mainly unoccupied platforms...!). Haven't seen so much in Riverside Yard recently though. So, do the North Devon fans take a seat in this area or set up our own?
Guest 34008Padstow
So, do the North Devon fans take a seat in this area or set up our own? Ive often thought that there should be a North Devon railways group. It would be easier for topics that dont fit into S Devon
RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted August 4, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 4, 2012 I thought up the acronym "R.A.N.D.O.M." (Rmweb Asscociation of North DevOn Modellers) as while back
devondynosoar118
We are happy to look at expanding this one to cover all of our mighty county, I am sure Kris will be happy to oblige even though he is now living the wrong side of the Tamar.
Glorious NSE
That is brilliant! If only we could run that fast in real life!! DCC want you to run that fast as it's the only way they can service the 3 new stations they want on the Exmouth branch!
RMweb Premium Kris Posted August 5, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 5, 2012 If wanted the group could be expanded for to the whole of Devon. It didn't happen to start with as there was a very active bit about North Devon and the Withered Arm so I assumed that they would have set a group up for that. It hasn't happened so expansion is possible.
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted August 5, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 5, 2012 Haven't seen so much in Riverside Yard recently though. Patience, my friend, patience! Some of us have a cunning plan...
stadman
Lot of nice modelling going on in North Devon as well. I'm sure they would likea group covering their area.

This was mentioned recently, and I think the favourite proposal at the moment is to include North Devon in the South Devon group.
Glorious NSE
I think there is a certain logic to that, a 'railways of Devon' group would complement the 'railways of Cornwall' group nicely, and result in fewer 'where should this go?' moments... RMweb Premium Kris Posted August 7, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 7, 2012 As there seems to be support to expand the range of this group I shall ask Andy to do this.
