fluff
Don't know where the information on the Raven Group layout came from. It is SPARKEL (note correct spelling) and is a Bavarian snow scene in HO.

Ed-farms
As an added interest for the real thing the weekend should see 60008 Dwight D. Eisenhower and 60010 Dominion of Canada fresh from their return to this country parked up outside on display, also on site should be 6229 Duchess of Hamilton to give you a chance to compare the 2 forms of streamlining. The Black Hat
Duchess of Hamilton now not expected to be at Shildon by this weekend. The two A4s have arrived: http://www.blackhatrailwaypictures.co.uk/p1052991403 in case anyone was interested. Im working on the Bishop Auckland layout at the weekend. So feel free to say hello to me and the team. My class 67 - 67001 is working on the line too. Having been one of the few that has arrived fine. Just a few days to go! RMweb Premium southern42 Posted October 10, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 10, 2012 Visited Shildon on our way back home after operating Peter Midwinter's Porth Eithin at Hartlepool 2012. If you've not been before, I hope you get a chance to look round the place and along the track. Lots of really interesting north eastern things and lots of, dare I say, Southern and GWR stuff too. So, hope the exhibition goes really well for you all and if you're visiting - enjoy.
Ed-farms
Just to remind people the show is this weekend, the 2 A4's will be outside but the weather forecast is promising so you can get pics of them and then come see Dwight D. in action on Leeds Weeklyn Hill. Heritage Railway magazine will also be there selling mag's and other goodies relating to the 2 A4's coming home.
malc125
Call at locomotion today, Nice to see so many visitors to see the A4s and the show, overflow car park even in operation. Had a very enjoyable time, good range of layouts and traders. If you can, you really should make the effort to go.
DLPG
Really enjoyed today. Excellent trade. Need some bits and bobs off squires tomorrow and photos of the A4's pre NRM restoration. Another day tomorrow on High Grange in the large O gauge circuit format. Call in and say hello
Sir Hadyn
Belting show, moving from the Civic has really upped it several grades and really good to see the emergency car park measures. Good feel and of course FREE! Nice also to have Furness 20 on train rides too...

So were you the end running to time this afternoon, or the end 30mins behind? I was running 30 mins behind! Can't remember why it suddenly built up that badly but was worked back overall.... think it was due to swapping with some other help there but having a chat soon found us behind further. Still its fun to make it all interesting!
Ed-farms
Can't remember why it suddenly built up that badly Thankfully we over at Leeds Weeklyn Hill never had any such problems with delay's of even 1 minute - must be 1960's planning beats modern day planning hands down.
