Adam
Just stumbled across this on the wsr.org site and also on the S&D Trust webpage. Very impressive and good to see a six-wheel carriage actually restored as a six-wheel carriage for once. They were lucky to get hold of a suitable underframe. http://www.sdrt.org/...?g2_itemId=9506 The same picture, a bit bigger: http://www.wsr.org.u...10/021012_1_gle Adam

RailWest
But it is only the outside, so go along to see it during the WSR Gala and hand over a nice large donation to help do the inside as well please

RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted October 24, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 24, 2012 Yep, saw this at the recent Autumn Gala, stabled in the yard at Washford. Very nice in fact the best thing I saw whilst there. Rob
Poor Old Bruce
Very impressive and good to see a six-wheel carriage actually restored as a six-wheel carriage for once. They were lucky to get hold of a suitable underframe. There are two six-wheel coaches in the vintage train at the Midland Railway Centre. One Midland and one LD&ECR.
