firefly9
I Know of the mainstream manufacturers engineering wagons such as clam, seacow etc but what 00 gauge kit manufacturers are turning out engineers wagons and what wagons are they? I've seen some of the parkside dundas stuff but is there anyone else making anything? Rich

Baby Deltic
Dapol do the Grampus, but if you want to do a super detailed one with the racks under it, etc, Parkside Dundas do a Grampus kit. Flangeway do a super Mermaid which saves building the Cambrian one.
RMweb Premium newbryford Posted October 10, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 10, 2012 If you to go a bit more modern, S-Kits do a couple of ZCA Sea Urchins and a few other bits and pieces, such as the later style body for a MHA. (Sorry, no up-to-date list to hand and no www either) Cheers, Mick
Daniel W
I've built a Cambrian Catfish and two Dogfish, they are not massively difficult to built but the support struts can be a little fiddly. A Handrail jig might come in handy too.

RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted October 12, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 12, 2012 Dapol do the Grampus, but if you want to do a super detailed one with the racks under it, etc, Parkside Dundas do a Grampus kit. Flangeway do a super Mermaid which saves building the Cambrian one. The Flangeway Mermaid suffers a little from having a large weight on top of the underframe so you don't get the skeletal effect. It is modify-able though, see Andy Y's article here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-2733-mermods/
