froobyone Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Regarding the fire extinguisher. This is standard practice when starting a model jet engine. Anyone worth their salt in the aircraft and helicopter modelling world, wouldn't consider starting an engine without having someone standing over the model with an extinguisher. Small jet engines have a propensity to cause fires. Having seen a turbine F16 go up in smoke as a testament. Lovely bit of modelling on the locomotive. Not sure if I'll be allowed one though.
