Debs.
I`ll be there! ...........after all, it is just `round the corner from us here at Collie-Towers. For those visiting: do please note the new-venue this year: which is near Wallasey Village station.....with free parking and very easy road-access from the M53 and Mersey Tunnel. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted October 27, 2012 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 27, 2012 Overall, the show is pretty good - don't forget to come and say hello in Hall 2. 950001 on it's first exhibition outing Cheers, Mick
flyingsignalman
I went this morning and enjoyed it. Hall 2, especially, was much brighter than Pacific Road. Surprisingly I had only seen two or three layouts before which was a nice bonus. I would liked to have spent more time at the exhibition but I'm on late turn today (no time to go yesterday). I took a few photos but I need to resize them before I post. Is this change of venue going to be made permanent?
RMweb Premium newbryford Posted October 28, 2012 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 28, 2012 Blackmill back in the club rooms - thanks to all that helped it upstairs! On behalf of the Blackmill team - many thanks to the Merseyside MRS for their hospitality. Cheers, Mick
flyingsignalman
Some photos of the exhibits. Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced my guide and I can't remember all the names! Loughborough Banks Road Letsby Central Purgatory Peak Tummel Langholm Wrexham Hightown Mostyn Wheeler's Lane, a layout for visitors to operate. Blackmill Blackmill again. Even allowing for modeller's licence, I do think the "Dalek" is a tad too close to the TSR warning board Bury Cragmill Donnington Yard Grathwaite Junction Model boats (EDIT - layout names added)
