madgasters
Lately i have added quite a few LT panniers to my model collection plus a few brake vans and wagons i have made. So was thinking for making a place to run/display them maybe show ect. So have been thinking of making a small model of Lillie bridge. Thinking about 3ft x 1ft very low light to get the atmosphere of a dark and drity stream shed. Cant find of any other models of Lillie bridge on the net , dose anyone know of anyone who has attempted it?

RMweb Gold TravisM Posted November 23, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 23, 2012 That is a really nice way you have positioned the shed with loco's, guards vans etc. Tinted, sooty glazing perhaps? Julian Sprott
Jeff Smith
Some really good pictures of Lillie Bridge in LT steam days in Red Panniers http://www.motorbook...sp?bookid=84265
RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted December 5, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 5, 2012 I baulked a bit at the price of this book when it came out, but paid the money and can honestly say it's one of the reference books I use the most. I seem to be forever trying to check details of locos/wagons/lineside against the many pics in this volume.

London cambrian
its a superb book. I bought it when i started doing my 5 inch gauge pannier tank in LT livery. I can honestly say if you are going to spend the £27 on two average books, or the panniers book, go panniers everyday!
