H&B Class A 0-8-0

"Worsdell" you ask if I had anymore "Blasts from the Past" here is the final one. H&B 0-8-0 all homebrewed etc, but this one a bit up market and has a Portoscap motor. Model built mid '80's, another retirment project to complete it, after all only a passtime. Best Wishes, Mick.

Really nice! On the other hand I've always wondered about the ergonomics of looking out of those cabs.

In my last post about your H & BR 2-4-0, I asked whether you had any other gems hidden away in the archives. Well I've just logged on to find your 'A' Class 0-8-0. What a stunner! A beautiful model that oozes power. Great stuff.

May be of interest, engine as built in original livery. Photo taken at Springhead c1907 and hand tinted. Today, the trees remain but nothing else. Other view Springhead works, engine as rebuilt with "NE Style" boiler. Mick.

Another fantastic model mate and as said oozes power. It's a real shame that these didn't survive till nationalision, at least I can justify a Q5/2 so if nothing else I keep the boiler and the Brutish look of power.
