Stuart
The journey planners available on most timetable sites are OK, but I like to be able to consult a “proper” timetable. Network Rail publish the full GB Timetable in “traditional” format meaning that there’s actually a timetable to read. Is there an on-line equivalent for SNCF? Thanks Stuart
RMweb Gold DaveF Posted December 22, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 22, 2012 I've never found one. If I want to look up timetables I generally use the DB timetable site which covers all Europe, but not as downloadable line timetables (unlike the Swiss one where you can for Switzerland). By the way the DB timetable, covering all Europe including GB can be downloaded from: http://www.bahn.de/p/view/buchung/karten/dbfahrplanbest.shtml It is about 116Mb. I think updates can also be downloaded, but I've never tried that. David Edit - I really must learn to type without mistakes.

JeffP
I used to treat myself to a paper European timetable every year, to look at possible journeys in France. Some I made, some remained dreams.......
kintbury jon
You can download timetables from the various TER websites - depends what you're after though. This page has the Nord-Pas-de-Calais services available to download - just choose the route! http://www.ter-sncf.com/Regions/nord_pas_de_calais/Fr/Se_deplacer_en_TER/Avant_mon_voyage/Fiches_horaires/Default.aspx
mp55aec
Or just work from the Arrival/Departure times on the DB site, if you click on the train number it gives the full journey information- http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/bhftafel.exe/en
andyrush
I thought I had posted this yesterday, but the forum problems appear to have caused it to get lost in the ether! RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted December 23, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 23, 2012 Last Time I went under the channel I got a copy of the Thomas Cook European Timetable, I had to order it and took about a week to get. The advantage there is a section on through trains from one country to another as well as each counties listings. Cheers SS
