Eggesford box
Thanks for sharing. My grandparents used to live at Redbourn near the line and I can remember my grandmother (a teacher) telling me about a day she had off work and so did not catch her regular train. Somewhat late the train appeared around the corner near the house with the traincrew looking out for her having waited over time at the station for her to appear! eastwestdivide
Could someone identify the Tartan Arrow vans? There were models of CCTs in a different Tartan Arrow livery, but obviously not these.

Thanks - more familiar with them in a grimy shade of all-blue. Weird how the livery affects your perception of the shape.

Guest Phil
LMS Period 3, BGs, with gangways removed as most were later in life. Merf. I'm no expert Merf, but are 57' BGs ? I believe that the vast majority of LMS BGs were 50 footers but these look longer, particularly if you try to compare them to the length of the loco.
