Ah but don't forget, they didn't arrive at once.

Load haul, transrail and mainline appeared in 94,

Then Wisconsin Central brought the lot ( and rfd eventually ) and started EWS

And who in their right mind, thought, three different bidders would buy LH,TR and mainline to compete against each other for small slices of a small market...

Tonight "Hornby bargain" :senile:

 

Got this Hornby EW&S class 60026 for £20s :locomotive: :sungum:

motors smells of burning,and loco runs rough...

So ile get replacement from Hornby HQ.... :senile:

It looks like a nice model, would Hornby replace the motor free of charge ?

Now you know you don't really need those Tarmac hoppers. You can sell them to me for £26.00 to match my other 8 and make a pound profit in the process. LOL.

Good bargain though mate. I'd try sending the 60 to Hornby. Their normally pretty good. Had to send our sound chipped 31 back as that smelt of burning. Turned out it was the chip not the motor.
