Good evening.

Can anyone direct me to a source of info re typical coaches used on  the Plymouth Manchester (and reverse) circa 1947?

Any other info you could share here would be really useful.

Many thanks.

How about this, taken at random from the WR carriage working programme for summer 1954:

11.55 am Manchester to Plymouth:

WR brake composite, dining car, third Manchester - Plymouth

LMR brake third, composite, third, brake third also Manchester - Plymouth but with a different return working  to the WR coaches

WR brake third, third, brake composite Manchester - Kingswear

Third [region not specified], LMR third, LMR brake third Mon, Fri & Sat only Stockport - Kingswear.  The return working of these was not specified.
