RMweb Premium polybear Posted May 24, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 24, 2013 Hi all, It's just been posted on the S4Soc. Forum that Chris Kedgley, (former?) Chairman of the EMGS, a very talented modeller and all-round nice guy has sadly passed away (on Thurs 23/04/13) after battling with Cancer for several years. A great loss to all who knew him, and also those who didn't know him personally but benefited from his dedication to the EMGS. R.I.P Chris. RMweb Premium t-b-g Posted May 24, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 24, 2013 Chris stepped down as Chairman of the EMGS around a year ago mainly due to his health problems. The only modelling I ever saw of his was when he did an occasional "demo" on painting and lining and he was undoubtably very good indeed. As a chairman he was a master of diplomacy and I always felt pretty sure that the society was in a safe pair of hands while he was running the show. Perhaps even more important than his skills and abilities, he was just a genuinely nice bloke and it always a pleasure to see him and spend time with him. A sad loss. RIP Chris.
