jcredfer
.......................... pause for thinking "... ... ... ... ... ... ..." The use of the full stop to indicate a pause or for leading into and out of partial quotations should only be three dots, any more is considered irrelevant and shows a lack of education. [Pedant mode off] ........ clearly ... education may well not be the only cause .............................................. perhaps ............. old age and a need for consideration of other factors, might lead to several groups of 3 x dots being con-joined ... but then English teachers were never known for their expertise in mathematical Differentiation [Note: there is a capital "D"] "... ... ... ... ... ... ..." [which may be interpreted as 7 x pauses for thought - or - 7 x Morse for "S" [Maths and pedant hat firmly switched orf] PS. My daughter some while ago, went for an interview for 6th Form entry to a well known good School for a place in their 6th Form. She established good credentials for 2 A Level topics, but was not really sure what might best accompany them. At this stage, one of the teachers [Head of English, as it turned out], complete with Tweed Suit and Woven Stockings, suggested A Level English might be a possibility, considering daughter's good pass level in the subject [with some other very logical reasons for it being so]. Daughter responded that she would rather take a useful subject ... ... the whole assembly realised the implications of the reply and simply held their breath ... ... Head of English, was however, an intelligent Lady and understood exactly what daughter had meant by her reply. She thought for a few seconds and suggested that Geology might be a good match for her other subjects. [i have heard people say that the "Tension could be cut with a knife" ... in this case the "Relief could be felt to wash over the whole assembly". ... Edit - O = S ... --- ... Posted 09 December 2014 - 18:46 fans of inspector morse should recognise this car 3682 a figure in time will accompany this car when it appears on the layout The figure is still not done yet......at present am chopping up one poor figure to make DAVROS. Inspector Morse will in time appear...in fact I'll quickly google him as a reminder... the list of things in my mind I need to add on here is vast...some of it is actually related to 'proper' Railway scenery...especially if it involves me trying new techniques.

Alcfalath
Wow...365 pages of 'over 9000' posts... but it was well worth it Thought I should sign up and say hi...*HIIII*...as well as admonish you with compliments on such a fantastic build. It was only by pure chance that I found this gem, and a few other threads I should pop into and comment on as well, and I have to say its definitely an inspiration for what I am planning on doing, especially the research you have done and posted up so that others can learn from (and a few sources of particular items I never knew existed). There are way too many things done that I want to compliment individually, but at the foremost is Goathland, Aidensville, the Graffiti wall, and just generally the amazing attention to detail (and how lucky you are to have soo much room to play with )Anyways, off to work for me, but I'm sure ill be back to say hi again and see more progress as it comes along (especially the Dr Who stuff, which im looking forward to..) Also, if you want far more Daleks - both Classic and Paradigm - Try find a cheap Dr Who RISK game, as they come with about 80 useable Daleks TTFN Ta Ta For Now Matt - Alcfalath

Alcfalath
No need to thank me, you guys are the ones who deserve the thanking.I do have to say that I am a little sad now that I have finally caught up to the end of the thread though, since now its a case of 'realtime' waiting for more progress Like having to wait a year between good TV show seasons With the future inclusion of Inspector Morse, will there perhaps be a Chief Superintendent Foyle with his lovely driver Sam? Possibly filming of a crime up at the airbase maybe?

The reply will be 3 x long flashes [easy to remember as 3 long = 6 short] - just keep at it until they reach you with the Helicopter to whoosh you home again ..... ................................................. .......................................... unless, of course, there is a convenient train to take you ......
