RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted May 31, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 31, 2013 Looks like one to buy as we have acres of mud to do in the River Lune as we're modelling it at lopw tide to show off the bridges. Jamie
RMweb Premium The White Rabbit Posted August 28, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 28, 2013 This is now available and does look rather good. 108 pages, fully illustrated and to the standard you'd expect from the builder of Pempoul. £24.95 but well worth it. I've only flicked through mine so far, but it shows the signs of a masterpiece. JG - Mud is covered at the rear of the book, with a superb diorama of a muddy gateway. (I know people will never believe me, but I was once asked "Why do farmers always put their gateways in the muddiest parts of their fields?" ...) tpm1ca
This is great news. I loved his first two books, on trees, and have just gotten off the phone with Wild Swan to place my order for this one. Thanks for the update. I was fortunate to interview Gordon about his tree books for the podcast I used to co-host, called The Model Railway Show. Look for Episode 49 on the show's website and enjoy if you listen. Cheers! - Trevor
