Hi Allan

I created the arch courses in some graphics software and printed them out, I use the drawing program that comes with the free LibreOffice suite and the Gimp.

The arches I printed were not quite to the correct curve so I soaked the cut out prints backs with PVA for a few minutes which allows me to stretch and bend the paper a bit.

Another small helpful piece of software is Bricks & Arches from here:

http://www.bwwmrc.co.uk/bricks/

Thanks Campaman.

Went to your link, got a headache and gave up !

Will get round it one way or another so many thanks anyway.

Cheers.

Allan

At the bottom of that page choose the download the zipped windows executable file, once you have it downloaded on your computer you open the zip file and drag the executable file out onto your desktop or another folder, then just double click that file to run it.

Superb modelling Lee, you really capture run-down industrial buildings.

Is this building going to be under or near some trees? That would explain the vegetation around it.

See, you're such a good modeller, I can see the trees even though they aren't there :)

Thing is,this is for someone eke, so he'd better have trees....

This is the  version, Freebs made for me,  for Dover Priory NR Depot.

I have trees, but did not require the squirrel cage's.

Is this based on a real station? I am sure I recognise it, or at least the style, especially with those chimneys. (Sorry if I have missed this somewhere earlier in the thread.)

Lovely modelling.

Hi Brian

I didn't realise it was N gauge, which means it is twice as good as I had previously thought. I must have recognised it from the 'Railway Memories No 8 Barnsley Cudworth and Royston', well worth a purchase if you don' already have it.

Lovely modelling, and I will follow the new layout with interest.
