Rugd1022
First thought is Solihull or Olton.... the iron gate in the bottom pic looks very GWR, and the motors in the second look rather ace! Nidge
Druid
Nidge I should have said well south of Birmingham .Just didnt want to give it away too soon. GWR certainly warm. Druid
Jim49
Yes it does look a bit like a dairy - the guy with the white boiler suit and the white storage tank(?) beside the trees in picture 1 give that impression. The sign at the car park entrance is headed ST - short for St Ivel? As to location, haven't a clue as usual. Jim
Rail-Online
Hi, Is that rails inset in the road of the first photo? If so should help at a pure guess St Austell or the Port of Par..... Tony

Druid
Yes Hemyock . I understand creamery continued into the late eighties but transported by lorry . Car Park is the old station site and the gate is from the old entrance . Druid
Rugd1022
Ah, I was only a 'few yards' out then Nidge
Steve K
... the motors in the second pic look rather ace! I saw that photo and thought "late 70s" (MkI Capri, Austin 1100/1300 estate etc), but then I noticed the MkIII Escort, which means it's no earlier than 1980! Irishswissernie
I have a few photos of Hemyock in happier days on this collection; it was the building above the carpark on the right that clinched it! http://my.fotopic.net/collection/01477949/ regards Ernie
