The loading ramp was on an old Bulleid chassis, I believe; it was owned by MAT, who loaded/unloaded cars and Land-Rovers at the old 'Military Platform'. The car-carrier was ex-works, part of a very large number being delivered in readiness for the (delayed) opening of the Channel Tunnel; sometimes, almost the entire load of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais were new wagons at this time, as there were car-carriers and container flats for the Tunnel, along with new flats for Freightliner, as well as wagons like those Buxton Lime Industry ones shown earlier.
