ed1234
Hello all, first post but a long time lurker. I'm contemplating a diorama of the northern most platform of Hereford station. In the course of my research and sketching, I have been identifying things that will need a bit of thinking about how to get them right, with a view to getting some guidance from the seasoned expertson here. Anyway, problem area number one: how would you go about creating the intricate details in the supports in this picture (bit I'm really interested in has been circled)? This is a motif that repeats all over the place in Hereford, so unless I can think of a good way of cranking out tens of these and having them look decent, I'm not sure how to proceed. Thoughts, suggestions, readily available whitemetal pieces? Ok, last one may be too much to hope for.
Kelly
You could consider 3D printing or making your own etches?
billbedford
Before you do anything it is a s well to check that similar brackets are not available from the trade. Most of mine look too fancy for your purposes.

ed1234
Thanks all, and yes indeed, 4mm. I can't tell from the Scalelink picture exactly what they look like, but I'm sure I'll find something in that pack that will suit. Bill, your etches look great. Nick Holliday
Lochgorm KIts do an etch for Dingwall brackets that are very close to your requirements, although there are 4 circles in the centre, rather than the three at Hereford http://www.lochgormkits.co.uk/html/hli_12_to_hli19.html#HLI12
jwealleans
You could try Pete Harvey of this parish who can probably do exactly what you need if you supply drawings/images.
