Gravy Train
Hi good people, I thought it might be a good idea to re introduce the Shed scenes thread which I started in the old RMweb days, post up your models here :-), it can also be shed related structures like water tanks, coaling stages etc, hence 'shed scenes'. first off, one from me, an 8 road LNWR north light Web design in 4mm scale. and from above overhead shot showing vent alignment cheers Edited August 5, 2014 by Gravy Train
Kelly
Impressive shed. Does it lift off etc to access in case of derailments etc? Nothing of my own to share at this stage, though I'm working on plans for a LT steam shed which will eventually get done...

coachmann
Must admit I was suprised to see there were no inner supports. Lees 26F was a Northlight shed with six roads and rows of columns between pairs of roads. When it got a new roof with girder beams in the mid 1950s, supports were not needed. Gravy Train
Hi Folks, many thanks for the kind comments, much appreciated. Hi Alan, your not wrong there but its work all the same, the most difficult part is making sure the vents are all in line. I haver added/edited another photo showing an over shot to show the vent alingnment. Hi Larry, yes, you are correct re assumptions inner supports, the photo was taken before these were added to the underside of each road but sometimes I have to build them without the supports as instructed by the customer ( extra work ) and all that so you will notice this quite a bit on some of the models. :-) cheers Peter

Gravy Train
Hi Larry, yes, but only one and it was good fun but you have to do more modelling like fitting the roof vent channels etc cheers Peter
