PenrithBeacon
La Baraque. An enjoyable show, if a little uncomfortable at times. I'm looking forward to seeing the layouts I missed due to the crush in the future, preferably this year Regards
iamjamie
Those pictures of La Baraque are excellent David... The almost look like they've been lifted from the pages of a magazine(!) It just goes to show the quality of modelling on that layout, and the excellent lighting. Does anyone know which layout won the best layout prize? I didn't notice... bbishop
There isn't a best layout prize. Melton was adjudged to have the best scenic presentation. Not sure which stand (any stand) was adjudged to have made the best contribution, I was off on barrier duty at the time. Bill
mike morley
There was a trophy of some sort on top of La Baraque's lighting pelmet on Saturday afternoon
brightspark
Well here are the last few pictures from my tour. Melton Mowbray North. Lots of nice work here. Good running as well. This factory roof caught my eye as being very well done. The layout looks great from the end. Kirby Stephen West Is this a Mk4 detector van or a Mk4a. If it is a Mk4a then the Scooters are wrong. And Finally Holzapfel I picked up a few little bits and bobs myself and spent far too much at Kernow. Plus it was a chance to catch up with friends old and new. bbishop
Andy, Very many thanks for the photos. I spent 2½ days in the Arena and seem to have missed most of the cameos that you spotted. Bill
RMweb Premium Lambton58 Posted January 14, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 14, 2014 That was how the casette system was orginally designed to be made in the first place way back when it first arrived. Thanks, I hadn't appreciated that. Certainly worked well in this instance. Ralph Lambton58
Nimbus
Well here are the last few pictures from my tour. Melton Mowbray North. Is this a Mk4 detector van or a Mk4a. If it is a Mk4a then the Scooters are wrong. IMG_1791.JPG Do they pull the handle up and then press it down again when they find one? The Nim.
