Jeff Smith
I have laid On30 Micro Engineering code 70 track using the spacing provided by back to back points and this seems to provide adequate clearance (2 7/8ths between centres). The Peco O-16.5 points are somewhat shorter and I'm wondering if two back to back points will provide sufficient spacing for double track, about 2 ins? I will be running both Bachmann On30 stock, mostly bogie vehicles, and 7mm Glyn Valley 4 wheel stock. It seems a bit tight and I'm wondering what others have done? RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted October 16, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 16, 2014 The a Peco track is from the days they started producing their own range of small quarry stock so yes it's probably too tight for the big bogie stock. Just decide on the ideal spacing then lay out the points and fill the gap with a short length of flex track is all I do.
