Grimleygrid
Whilst searching Flickr for photos of locos I plan to model on Boxenby, I came across these lovely photos which really appealed to me so I thought that I would share them. Waverley West
Superb Alex! There were some good liveries around at that time I think, not to mention still plenty of traction variety. Thanks for posting. Oh and one more thing... more please! Cheers Dave
Grimleygrid
Problem is Dave, if I go on Flickr for a few minutes, an hour later………..it is very easy to get lost on that site browsing photos! I think that is one of the main reasons that I model that period. As you say, a great selection of traction and in a variety of liveries!
Waverley West
I've only recently become aware just how good Flickr is as a source of photos (mainly as a result of seeing your flickr photos on your Boxenby thread). There are some fantastic shots of Waverley on there which are perfect as reference photos.
Grimleygrid
Hi Dave, this afternoon I was looking for something and then found a load of photos taken at Toton which I had not seen before. Superb! It really is a great source for modellers, a big thank you to all those that have kindly uploaded photos for us to enjoy! I have to confess that I visit Flickr several times a day!......either browsing photos of Toton, or 20s, 56s, 58s and 60s. Which you will probably be surprised to hear! Always nice to go back in time via Photos on Flickr.....

Grimleygrid
Thanks for the links Rail Announcement, I really liked the photo of 31105, very useful as I plan to model that one. I hadn't realised that it kept its Red Stripe Railfreight livery into 1991. Great!
