MikeTrice
I have no idea if they are the cheapest, but the quality of the C+L strips are superb.
hayfield
I have no idea if they are the cheapest, but the quality of the C+L strips are superb. I would like to echo Mike's words on C&L sleepers, the width of these are constant and the sides cut at 90 degrees as they are cut with a router rather than a Guillotine which in my opinion does not give such a sharp edge. Also the PCB is fiberglass SMP have been taken over by Marcway models who sell both brands, they offer paxoline sleepers and Marcway do some in fiberglass. Marcway do a wider range of widths than C&L. I have used a 3 brands in the past, but now only use C&L. C&L also sell 2 thicknesses 1.06mm & 1.6mm. Turnouts made from the thicker sleepers do have a better feel, though in the end will be burried in ballast. Variuos societies sell their own brands as well. These may fit into the cheapest but may not be the best.
Guest D.J.K.
I'd recommend C&L as well, or if you see them first, Model Signal Engineering sell a similar product............ Cheers Dave
