  1. I had a wonderful afternoon, many thanks to all who organised and worked hard. The modelling on display was awesome. Here's hoping there's enough in the kitty for a 2025 gig. @St Enodoc, your pasty was gorgeous, as were the cakes.
  2. I think I may be able to confirm that I will be able to get there tomorrow. A pasty has my name on it.
  3. Is that just your opinion? See what I did there?
  4. In the very early days of office computers a clerk asked me what would happen if he flicked the power switch off. He didn't expect the response "All your teeth fall out".
  5. I managed to get a phone snap of it in the morning sun streaming through the windows before the show opened.
  6. Sounds like you are an accident waiting to happen.
  7. See you there next year, Phil?
  8. I've found some C1012 Baseboard Track End Protectors if they're any good?
  9. Is there a particular rtr chassis that would suit this, please?
  10. For the Thames Clyde Express, Try this: https://www.rmweb.co.uk/forums/topic/115783-thames-clyde-express-formation/, Also this thread : https://www.rmweb.co.uk/forums/topic/17837-1s68-the-thames-clyde-express/page/2/ gives this link: https://brcoachingstock.groups.io/g/main which apparently includes the info you are after.
  11. My first railway photo taken at Dawlish before I started spotting:- My second one:- taken at Robertsbridge. Then.......trains from Nelson (Lancs). I know this one is heading for Skipton, but in the opposite direction, armed with a child cheap day return, Manchester Piccadilly, now I am seeing exotic. Tommy and Stentor.
  12. They weren't hoovers on the WCML. Me and my mates called them "DP2s" to differentiate them from the other EE Type 4s that had been knocking around for years. Then when I was doing my BR training at Kingmoor the staff called them "bleeps" because of the unique sound of the DSD.
