I use Mac myself and my Sony camcorder works just fine with it and did not cost that much :-)

Larry the specs on my Sony are as follows , dunno if they make any sense to you though they sure don't to me LOL it is a sony DCR -TRV280 with steady shot , USB streaming , Optical20x and 990x digital zoom . It shoots in darkness with no lights etc and also stills and just about everything in between .It is light weight and will fit on a tripod .Just thought to let you know . it ill do manual and auto so you have a choice .

Larry being of simple tastes and equally simple when it comes to tekkie stuff i chose a Sony Handycam Digital 8 .It is easy to use and easy to transfer to my computer .I like easy stuff as i get frustrated too quickly with the fancy gizmos :-) I got it on sale here for about $80.00 or so back a year or so ago ,If you get any prices let me know I can probably beat them for you here , if you don't mind paying shipping !!! !!!

Pete I have never been "normal" but the surgery sure helped me get back up and running , do what you have to do it IS worth it :-)Be thankful you are not in Cincinnati it is 'orrible here in the river valley :-)

You are so right mate it is not helping that this weather is so hot and humid either :-) I should learn to do what I am told by the doc then maybe i would not get into these messes eh LOL ??? Still at least they found the prob and fixed it so I am back to my normal ( whatever that may be ) self LOL

Ok guys made it :-) All the tests done , new meds and back on track once again :-) Thank you ALL for the kind words and good karma much appreciated . Getting older is a drag for sure but it is all in the head and i refuse to quit i have too many new locos to buy and still have my Pot bank layout to build so best get cracking again eh ??? :-) So hot over here right now so I am sequestered in my basement workshop in the cool staying well and working on the railway . Have even taken up the old bass again so if you hear any 'orrible sounds it may well be me :-)

Hello guys i have this funny feeling that i may have missed a few replies to some of the members on the forum , if so please accept my apologies for that :-) i have not been any to well these last few months and have had a lot on my mind . trying to keep up with everything has been a bit of a job of late :-) Soooo if I have failed to respond to anything it is not because I am being rude i have just had a lot to deal with .
