  1. Hi Andy - Great pics of your weathered stock Mate, very nice Cheers, Bob.
  2. Great pics there Scott - Layout looks fantastic, the Lorry and Van train looks superb Cheers, Bob.
  3. Hi Rob - More than happy to have lots of Military Vehicles mentioned and shown - For me, that's what this type of layout is all about, the detail in what you are transporting etc. Its a shame that model company's do not produce more post war British AFV's and Softskins in 1/76 as plastic kits (not resin), been very neglected in my view getting better In 1/35th scale now though, but still lots of types that have not been done. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Bob.
  4. Your right of course Dave - I think that's what I meant to say, but got it wrong thinking about that lovely Deep Bronze Green Gloss paint in the 50s/60s. Cheers, Bob.
  5. Hi Rob A few model pics for Inspiration - These are 1/24th scale though - Not mine I might add. Cheers, Bob.
  6. Hi Rob Coming along nicely - I have always used a Superglue on resin, which seemed to work well for me as long as its stactic - Paint for British vehicles in camo is Deep Bronze Green + Matt Black, should look ok with those colours, or you could also go for Desert Sand in the 1990s. Cheers, Bob.
  7. Nice neat and tidy work there Ray Cheers, Bob.
  8. Hi Rob - As you possibly know the H Licence is not cheap to take today (luckily my one cost me nowt) - I have been driving Military vehicles, Tracked & HGV etc since I was 18 (over 45 yrs ago ) - Never owned a 432 or CVRT, but have owned Daimler Ferrets and various Military vehicles privately. You will need a fair bit of money to own a CVRT today.... Buying it ....... that's the easy part (if you have the money of course) the hard part is keeping it maintained to a high standard, also Transportation /Storage etc - Best to join an MV club and get in with someone who has one and wangle a drive to see if you like it (You Will ). A good friend of mine has a DUKW and Halftrack etc, so I still get to drive these occasionally. Cheers, Bob.
  9. Looking forward to following your build on these Rob to see how they go together etc - They are great fun to drive by the way Cheers, Bob.
  10. I see that the Henriette only has a gross tonnage of 2900 - Maybe she will make a few trips ? - It would need a very big Ship/Barge to carry 33,000 tons. Cheers, Bob.
