Hi Pete, As an East End Lad, I can see why you like those railways, Hackney/Stratford and surrounding area was my stamping ground until the 1970s, and being brought up next to the North London Line its always been my favourite (Always fancied modelling Victoria Park Junction), but on moving to Surrey, the 3rd rail and southern Loco's has been my modelling preference - Looking forward to what you decide. Many Thanks Ian, great pics - I have a bit of a thing with Tampers and Departmental/Engineers Stock - I was hoping that a manufacturer would have graced us with a decent 1980s 75 Tonne Diesel Breakdown Crane by now ... we can live in hope . Cheers, Bob.

David, have the tides risen over the years or is just the time of year that they seem so high - Would be Interesting to compare Tide heights in 1989 and today - I know Sea Levels have risen over the years, but not that much ?. Cheers, Bob. -
