  1. Underframe unscrews easily, but on mine the rest of the innards are firmly glued in. Very careful repaint required! Such a shame.......... Best wishes Nige
  2. Jules, a great layout and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching its progress over the years; well done! Best wishes Nige
  3. Is it not the footstep that goes on the lower curved portion of the defector? May be two to give you a spare? best wishes Nige
  4. Just popped into Hattons and tried H1410 and H1411 on their test track. H1410 relatively smooth but slipped to a standstill on slight changes of gradient, H1411 was appreciably smoother and gradient might as well have not been there; no effect on performance. It was a smooth runner even at slow speed, no nasty noises, so its now sitting on my rolling road running in; will keep fingers crossed! The lady serving was very helpful and testing each model was no problem. Best wishes Nige
  5. Pre ordered! Looking forward to release! Well done Rails! Best wishes Nige

  12. How about a large radius interlaced slip a la Ropley loco yard? Would require some fettlin* from two large radius turnouts but could be done. Best wishes Nige
  13. Hi folks, For anyone out there who can’t bear to lose their superdetailed Lima 47s and wants sound. I’ve just fitted an 8pin harness and class 47 TTS sound, with zimo 3d speaker, and it runs like a charm and sounds great. The only tweaking I had to do was change CV 151 to value 255 and CV 152 to value 1 to get her to run slowly and smoothly. Life in the old dog yet! Hope this helps someone. Best wishes Nige
