    That's rather nice,  Chris.

How did I miss that...nice use of the Hornby Weighbridge by the way. One of their better efforts.

  2. The Missenden Railway Modellers virtual Autumn Weekend has drawn to a close but all the content remains on line here:

    https://www.missendenrailwaymodellers.org.uk/index.php/virtual-missenden-autumn-2020/

The weekend included a number of live zoom sessions which have been recorded and are available here:

If you have a few minutes and whether you are a Missenden regular or not we would be very keen to hear any feedback which you can leave here:

    Thanks

    Morning all.

We have quite a bit of sheep inspired items around Chateau Sheep.........including three layouts...

I haven't, as of yet, settled back into winter modelling mode. That may well change as of next weekend when the clocks change..We shall no doubt see. On a positive, here is a test photo taken on a new box brownie ( which I'm attempting to get used to ).

    Chateau Mouton ne c'est pas?

  4. I use an empty syrup tin with a replaceable lid which I take to the recycling siteperiodically and put it in the metal skip. I tend to mention  it to the staff on site but they are not bothered as I assume  once its in the skip it does not get handled by real people again?

ive been vainly holding onto the hope i can fit the entire layout on one board but that doesnt seem likely :(
alas that will cost more in wood for the fiddle stick, i guess the extra space is incredibly liberating as i can fit more operational interest in.

    Thanks

    Joe

Joe - the stick can be very basic - just wide enough for a switching lead. This is my Dock Street layout with my small off-scene track at left.

Don't tell me they lost ~15,000 orders because they have an old version of excel?! :wink_mini:

I suspect even Peco are more up-to-date than that....

What? Another one! :o Wow - you're keeping busy mate....
Where are you getting all this time for modelling? Don't tell me - It'll only make me jealous! lol :)

Somehow, I found time to build 4 layouts, and start a fifth - all within a two year period... somehow ha ha
Alas, that was some years back now - perhaps I felt younger then?  ;)

Looking forward to seeing this one progress too @Gilbert Although it'll probably be finished by the time I've typed this reply :) :) :)

Marc- sadly all I've done is paint a (plain) backscene and start a bit of wiring...the plan is to assemble as many bits as possible before the big push rather than do little jobs along the way..

I have however been experimenting with card for structures though...a trial build of some downloaded Scalescenes retaining wall..
