  1. Not sure as on Radio 4 lunchtime sounds like its going to be a long drawnout process, i only caught the end of it but not much we can do!
  2. My wife had added self adhesive snowflakes on most windows as she wasnt keen on the lines, so far so good.
  3. I could never understand why there was nothing under the carb to deflect fuel away from the maniifold on the Mini/ 1100 etc
  4. I often wonder with these conversions, where do they put the battery cos they are not small are they? Plus how does it affect your car insurance with potential fire risk?
  5. Also just finished weathering Falcon its off shortly to have a loksound xl chip installed.
  6. Just started stripping down my second Darstaed corridor Mk 1. This is a BSK, the seating is too high in the corridor variants and there is no guards compartment at all in this one. Strange as the BSO has one? I like to remove the steps from the ends at the same time and number the coaches. Pity the glazing isnt removeable, it goes the full length and height of the sides and grips like you know what to a blanket!!
  7. Our starlings are grazing again glad they are back
  8. Looks quite chic on there, not so good on a Morris Mini Countryman though!
  9. Just seen a blackcap in our garden and earlier a demised thrush in the drive. Birds keep flying into our windows as we dont have net curtains.
  10. Is that the quality issues, wonder how many they made?
  11. Here is the latest Fantomworks from a couple of weeks ago.
  12. One arrived in this world on a stork and resided in The Garden of England old chap!
  13. The later ones had chrome flashes on front wings and doors with 'Singer' above, didnt make that many, about 9000 i think. When you consider the Jowett Javelin from 1948 to 53 they made 25,000 of which several hundred still survive. In 1955 Singer bought out the Hunter S, an economy version with painted grille, no mascot, fog lamps, chrome strip or arm rest, never seen that variant. I think the bonnet was grp.
  14. The last one sounds like the caspian sea monster to me!
  15. Singer 1500, i think there are very few about now. I always liked them and the Hunter that replaced them.
  16. More like Darby and Joan without the contentment!
  17. "innit" i dont recall this word being used in pre decimal days?
